Fear
My CTO told me he was done building my app for me — and that I could do it myself with Claude. I didn't believe him. Three months later, I know he was right.
Fear. That's what I felt when my CTO, Nick Halverson, told me he was stepping back from building Building Code Wizard with me. He's an AI savant — there was no way I could replace him.
He said I could build the application myself, and that he'd really just been the middleman all along. He loves teaching, and he offered to help me make the transition to a new tech stack. I didn't believe him.
I hear that same fear when I talk to other people, especially those with little experience in AI. I understand completely — I felt it myself, even after 15 years of experience in AI and software. That fear is real, no matter how much background you have.
Three months later, I can say he was right. It's been transformational. Claude opened up a world bigger than I ever imagined. I already had the product vision — I knew the requirements, I understood the UI workflows. What I needed was a senior developer to execute it. Claude Code was that developer.
I no longer have that fear. That's exactly why I started this website — to help other people, mostly non-technical late adopters, see what AI can actually do. It's dedicated to helping you get past that same fear, so you can use AI to automate the mundane, open up new opportunities, and spend more time actually enjoying life.
